Update news - 4th W of Apr,2024

April has passed and May is here. Did you all make good memories with the beautiful April weather? As we wish you a May filled with as much joy as April's wonderful days, here are the updates for the last week of April. Great job this past month! ๐Ÿ˜Š

โญThis Week's Highlights

Settings Page Added (Dark Mode Support) ๐ŸŒ–

Weโ€™ve laid the groundwork for a settings page to create a customized desk and chair experience for our users. Many customization features are coming soon. This week, we added the dark mode setting. Enjoy OFFLIGHT in your preferred mode.

  • Access the settings page from the profile menu in the left navigation bar.

  • With the addition of the settings page, the service integration page link has moved to the profile menu.

  • It was previously hard to see which account you were logged in with, but now you can see your avatar and email address to verify your login information.

๐Ÿ’Ž Hidden Gems

OFFLIGHT Tag Icon Change

Weโ€™ve changed the icons for OFFLIGHT tags. The new icons better convey the idea of focusing only on important tasks and turning off distractions. Put unimportant tasks in the OFFLIGHT list and concentrate on what matters most.

๐Ÿ› Bug Fix

  • Resolved performance issues causing slow loading of tasks and calendar events for some users.

๐Ÿš€ Upcoming Next Week

Weโ€™ve started defining requirements and preliminary design and development work for the OFFLIGHT mobile service. While itโ€™s hard to pinpoint an exact release date, weโ€™ll update you as soon as we have a clearer timeline.

Gmail and Slack Custom Features

Custom settings for Gmail (full import, label-based import, starred-only import) and Slack (emoji display and message sending upon task completion) will be added soon.

Weโ€™re also finalizing our roadmap for this quarter, which will be announced on the OFFLIGHT feature request board once complete.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Behind the Scenes

  • The FE developer we mentioned last week has decided to join us on the OFFLIGHT journey! Our first planned team building is slowly coming together.

  • April 29th is the birthday of Roy, our FE developer who has been instrumental in shaping OFFLIGHT. Happy Birthday, Roy! ๐ŸŽ‚ Thanks to you, our product is gradually becoming more functional. We truly appreciate it!
