Mail client

Having the possibility to integrate with a mail client would allow to connect any inbox (e.g. a university or pro inbox) to OFFLIGHT.

Hi @maxence.vahedi Would this mean integrating with another mail instead of Gmail.

Or would this mean opening up different mail client?

      Hi !
I meant having a 2-way sync between for instance apple mail and offlight. Thus you could potentially use any email provider (including university and institutions ones) as long as they are connected with smtp to your local email client.

For example, with proton mail, you have basically no API since it is the way proton is built for privacy. You could tho connect Offlight to apple mail and proton mail to apple mail (with proton bridge)in order to access to you proton mails inside offlight.

This is like the weirdest example but just to show, integrating with an email client basically means integrating with any smtp server.

Another option would be integrating directly with smtp protocol, but definetely less user friendly.

Let me know if this clarifies the issue !
