Latency throughout the website is pretty significant. When you add task it appears like after 1 second or 2. Same thing with moving task through calendar. It switches the place after a couple of seconds. 🙌🏼
Hi for the voters of this issue. We have been working for this issue. For sharing where we are headed. We are implementing optimistic update into our product. Meaning, your actions will happen with out waing for our server reaction.
We think we will be able to roll this out for creating task / list for next week. And we will expand this calendar event too.

I am kind of In big frustration to hear this.
OFFLIGHT may have some features. But one core thing that we aimed for is ‘Blazingly fast’. It is targeted to have this speed.
1-2 seconds is just nonsense in this business. We will look in to this as our top priority.
Before we start, Can you share us what you have for your internet speed? You can use fast.com.
Also if you specify actions that you think is lagging, can you share the name of actions too? (Besides we will create for latency logs through out the service)

Sure thing.
fast.com ain’t working for me (government regulations, ain’t letting to connect), and obviously testing with VPN on will not bring true results, since I use Offlight without VPN most of the time.
I have a stable gigabit channel, so the connection itself ain’t the issue.
As for the specific things, one of the most noticeable lags is when I reschedule something to other date. After I hit “enter” when choosing the day, it takes some time to show me any feedback:
Notice how much time it passes when creating a task after I hit Return (Enter)
Notice that when I reschedule the task for tomorrow, after I hit Enter, nothing happens for some time
Notice when I reschedule the yesterday’s task for today, it first creates a new task and looks like a duplicate, and only then deletes the one from yesterday…
