Archive lists

Feature Request

JTBD: When I am done with tasks I’ve grouped with a particular list, I want to archive this list so that the “history” of these tasks is left throughout the app (time tracking, done tasks for the day, etc.).

More context: Right now, it seems I can only delete list. Why would I want that? I’ve created a temporary list for a particular task, which included several smaller tasks. Once I’m done with these, I want to archive the list so that it doesnt get in the way in the app.

Deleting the list delets the tasks, so that’s not it.

    Just to add to this.

    Currently, the “hide” feature hides the list inside the current app only. So when I switch from desktop to web, I gotta re-hide everything once again.

    Hi @Ian Corvin Sorry for late response.

    Just out of curiosity. We have Hide function for Lists

    You can do it by both ways and re cover hidden status. / You are seeking for more than hide, Is this correct? If so, would this mean you do not want to see the archived list from almost everywhere?

      Hi Dan,

      Yes, I’ve discovered the “Hide list” feature, and initial thought was that I needed more than this.

      I’ve checked this once again, and it seems that hidden lists are still visible in the filter button, where you select which lists you want to display — your second screenshot.

      Archived lists, on the other hand, would not be displayed anywhere. Maybe except a special area where you can view all archived lists.

      It would do as a w/a for now, but going forward, when I have dozens of hidden (done) lists, it would quickly become a mess.

        Got it. Also my Cofounder @OFFLIGHT - Jean has been craving for this feature, Since he has so many lists (also goals) he have finished.

        My only concern is, if we make archive - We will have to create another view where you can see all the archive the list, and unarchiving feature. So it came as a burden. (At least if we had a search feature)

        I will talk with our team about this week.
