Able to set specific days for recurring tasks

Let us assume today is Sep 8, 2024

I want to set to the task to recur 1st of month.

When I go recurring settings, by default it the setting is 8th of every month.

I am unable to change to 1st of month.

It would be nice, if I edit recurring to occur 1st of month even though now the date is 8th

    Now a bigger challenge.

Weekly I have two events in two different places. Amora and Seixal.

    • The first one occurs on the first and third Saturdays of the month.

    • Eventually, if it exists, on the fifth too.

    • The second one occurs on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.

There are options for the first, daily, weekly, every two weeks... but none meets the needed criteria.

In a five-week month, the events are as shown:

    [that month] (1) Amora > (2) Seixal > (3) Amora > (4) Seixal > (5) Amora [and then next month] (1) Amora (again)

It repeats two times in that place. This does not work with every 14 days or every two weeks.

The way I deal with this is creating five(!) events, each one repeating every first, second, third, fourth, and fifth Saturdays of the month. I needed to find a matching 5th Saturday to make it repeat every fifth Saturdays of the month. Silly, but it works 😁

Hi @Karnan Jag. This is getting asked a lot.
I guess we have to improve our UX regarding this.

You can now do this by
    1. create the task on first of any month.
    2. Set the recurring setting.

Actually it seems kind of same on the google calendar.

I think updating this feature as Natural Language will make more sense
